1 Month of Dayton

Dayton's already a month old (actually when I am writing this he is already 6 weeks old…life is a bit busier with 2 kiddos)! Goodness the time flies! Dayton is SUCH a sweet little baby--easy-going and a good eater and sleeper, too! We are blessed!

Dayton is a fast-growing little boy and at his 1 month appointment he weighed 9 pounds, 6 ounces--exactly 2 pounds heavier than at his birthweight. He grew an inch and a half, now at 21.5" long. His head grew to 16" which is 3 inches more than at birth--making his head in the 94th percentile! Goodness gracious, boy!

Dayton is already nicknamed brother and bubba and Sawyer knows that all 3 names (Dayton, brother, and bubba) all refer to him. She calls him baby, mainly, and sometimes bubba. It's cute :)

Doctor's appointments/Meausrements:

Birth: 7 lbs. 6.2 oz. 20" long, 13" head and 13" chest

6 days old: 7 lbs. 2.5 oz. 20.5" long

2 weeks old: 7 lbs. 14.5 oz. 20.5" long, 14" head

1 month old: 9 lbs. 6 oz. 21.5" long, 16" head

We love you sooo much already, bubba. You are a such a sweet little baby. Time is going by too fast - I would keep you small much longer if I could. At the same time, we cannot wait to see the little boy and man that you will grow to be!
