Well, for the past year I have had our blog blocked to the outside world. I have only allowed readers that I have invited by email. Well, I've decided to go public. We'll see how it goes! The reason why I had decided to keep the blog private (I only had 25 readers) is because I didn't think I wanted my students or my student's parents to be able to google my name and find my blog. I never write anything on here that I wouldn't want them to see, but I just thought I should keep all of it private. Since then, I have changed my mind. There are only 16 school days left, and I am going public! (After all, I have the best students and parents there are, so I'm not worried). :)
Anyway, if after a while I feel like this isn't going to work out, the blog will go private again...which means the invited users will have to sign into google using their email address. Also, you can always be invited if you just ask me and tell me your email address. :) Since I am going public, and you can find the blog on google or on the blogspot.com database, I have enabled comment moderation. All this means is that I can read the comments before they are posted. I am only doing this to make sure I don't have any jokesters finding my blog (ahem, my precious students! They are so tech savvy, I am sure one of them will find me soon!) :)
I have so much to update about, but it is just going to have to wait 'til later. I am so tired (as usual) and am going to have to go to bed! Goodnight all!

WOOHOO!!!
Well, I have officially been stinking at putting pictures on my blog, but I HAVE NOW SUCCESSFULLY FIGURED OUT SCRAPBLOG!!! You cannot possibly understand my excitement! I have had my blog for almost a year, and I have never been able to do it! Tonight I was so frustrated, I almost threw my computer across the living room. I completely ruined my blog. Every time I opened it, it was just a tiny little picture in the top, right hand corner. No words. Nothing. I thought I had lost all of my posts and everything. Luckily, my artsy and computer savvy friend Rachel, called me back to help me with my emergency. (I hate to admit it, but I use to think I had some computer finesse, but I really don't at all. It has been a very slow realization). Anyway, I have now done a very simple scrapblog header. I don't care that it is simple. I love it.
So excited.
In other news...
Sunday after church I had the rare desire to get our office, otherwise known as the "junk room," into order. We have just been pulling a box out here and there to organize, but on Sunday we got it all done! It was almost shocking. Now we have all of our junk hidden in closets and all the rooms are neat and clean. They aren't all done by any means, but they are at least clutter free and clean! Yessss!
I promise to add a picture of the clutter-free room soon. Don't be alarmed though; it still has a lime green wall, thanks to the previous owners!

Apparently we're blogging...
So, I (Lauren) decided to start a blog! I've tried this before (back when xanga was cool), and it lasted a year or so, but now I'm back! Ha ha. I think it will be a cool way to keep family and friends updated...so here we go!
Casey and I were at youth camp all week--it was awesome! The theme was "Addicted," and the kids loved it. When we got off of the bus, we handed them all bracelets that said, "What happens at camp, doesn't stay at camp." It is just to remind them to tell their friends about what happened at camp and not just let it be a memory, but a real change in their lives. Casey and I were absolutely exhausted, and the first thing we did when we got home was take a long and very needed nap! We went to Snuffer's afterwards for some good ole cheese fries. Since then, we've been just as busy as before! Saturday we had two weddings to attend, one of which, we were the videographers! This was the first time we have done this. Casey is the mastermind--he can do all of the cool editing. I am excited to see how it turns out! After the weddings we went out to eat with his parents, sister, brother-in-law, and their little boy Caleb! It is always fun to see him because he just gets cuter & more talkative every time! Before they left, I carried him out to the car, and he pointed up and said, "goodnight moon!" It was so cute. :)Sunday we went to church and then had our usual naptime afterward. Casey is always sleepy on Sundays because he gets up really early to set up! We asked a bunch of youth and college kids to play some volleyball last night and had a great turnout! It was a lot of fun! I actually did okay due to my crash course with Casey...he is determined to make me good enough to play with him. Ha ha.
